Welcome! We will learn about Ancient Civilizations in 6th
grade, so prepare to study Archaeology, Prehistoric People, and the
ancient worlds of Mesopotamia, Egypt, Israel, Greece, and Rome. Overall,
my goal as your teacher is not to teach you every little thing there is to know
about Ancient Civilizations, but to motivate you to become better students in
general and informed citizens of the world. So
keep calm and love Social Studies!
This blog will be used for
posting any relevant and interesting stories, videos (like this one)
or websites. I'll also use it to post any important or helpful
information about upcoming assignments like projects. I’ll try update the blog
with any pictures of student work and activities, so you can see each other’s
great work even when you might not be in the same period.
